The Tactical Program Leadership (TLP) Exercise is held six times annually, at the Florennes Air Base, in southwestern Belgium.

This exercise comprises courses in air-to-ground, interception-, strike-, CAS-, SEAD-, as well as air refuelling operations, all aimed at training future section and division leaders in NATO air forces.

The TLP 2005-4 Exercise, held from 30 May until 24 June, 2005, included following teams:

- Six F-16A MLU of Royal Danish Air Force:

- Two Mirage 2000Ns and two Mirage 2000 Mk.5s of the French Air Force (AdA):

- Two Super Etendard Modernise of the French Naval Air Arm (AN):

- Four F-16C Block 52 from Greek Air Force (EPA), from 350 Mira, Souda Bay AB:

- Two F-16ADF of the Italian Air Force (AMI):

- Three Tornado F.Mk.3s, three Tornado GR.Mk.4s, two Jaguar GR.Mk.3s, and two Harrier GR.Mk.7s of the Royal Air Force (RAF):

- Two F-15Es of the 48th FW, USAFE, from Lakenheath AB:

All the missions were accompanied by a Falcon 20 of the French Air Force, but also a Falcon of the Spanish Air Force:

The first and the last day of the exercise saw also arrival of many transport aircraft - including EPA C-130H, CASA 232, CASA 212 and others - which transported ground crews and support equipment.

The TLP 2005-4 profitted from good weather, which enabled all the planned missions to be flown.

Mr. Vincent Jacques kindly provided a series of splendid photographs - some taken from quite unusual angle and therefore showing rarely seen details of camouflage and weathering - including beautifull studies of RAF and German Tornados, AMI, RDAF and EPA F-16s, and other aircraft. For additional information about this exercise, please see also the website Website of Florennes Aviation Society
